This has really been a crazy time since I set up my BLOG. For about a year now we have been down to one means of transpertation. Normaly we have two Ford Rangers (same exact color, one '89 - mine we have had since '92 and a '91 4x4 - Jerry's we have had for 3 years now) for the last year or so one or the other has had trouble, either the transmission has gone out or the brakes or on mine the over drive went out so the mechanic said we could drive it in regeluar drive til it went out - well it did, it had no power at all. It would barley make it up the little hill as you leave Canyon, Tx (if you know the Panhandle you know it is a VERY LITTLE HILL) so we took it in and had the transmission changed along with the fuel pump, plugs, wires, all the belts and anything else he could think of. Sure glad Jerry went to school with him and they are good friends or I would not have trusted him. Guess that is one good advantage of living all your life where you were born (both of us, he has always even lived in the same house for 73 years next month), so mine is running fairly good now but it is getting really bad gas miles and the lights are real dim and hard to see with after dark, so he has been taking we to work every day in my '89 and getting me in his '91. Fine and dandy but now it seems his transmission is going out so we are back down to one vehicle. Oh well what would life be without it's little challenges, really boring if you ask me.
Well this is all for now, will have more later when I get back to the Library or get out on my own again.
I hate car problems!! It seems my truck has been in the shop a little much lately!! I can't begin to tell you how much it stresses me out!! Hope the trucks get fixed soon and that it won't hurt your pocket book too much!!
