Well we are starting round two today.

That's right, we didn't have to light the fires at the farm last night the low was only 23 but since we got up it keeps going down. It is 19 now. Jerry is up there lighting the burner in the barn and shop but we only have 22 hours left on those tanks so he will have to change out the tanks before too late tonight. They would not burn all day and all night. I feel sorry for him. He is getting older now and is having trouble lifting and moving the propane tanks. PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS, we are trying to fond someone to help him but have not succeeded in that yet. He won't let me.

On top of everything else the insurance agent can not get to the Panhandle til Friday or Saturday, maybe even next week some time. Believe it or not right now he is in El Paso on claims down there, working his way up the state. We will see him when he gets here. We just have to wait our turn. HA HA! Sure hope this will be the last BAD spell for this year. I for sure have decided, COLD WITHOUT ANY MOISTURE IS REALLY THE WORSE WEATHER TO HAVE.

HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A BLESSED DAY. IT SOUNDS LIKE I AM NOT BUT I REALLY AM - I KNOW IT COULD BE WORSE AND I KNOW GOD IS IN CONTROL AND LOVES US SO WILL TAKE CARE OF US.

Thanks Jen for getting me to read Friend Makin' Monday. I Love your post but here are my answers.

Did I watch the Superbowl? No, my husband now has to be a true nut case but he does not like any Sport. As a kid I always watched football with my Dad but didn't care much for any other sport, so we do not watch them. On the other hand my first husband did not enjoy football but always liked baseball with his dad. We made an agreement, I would watch baseball with him and he would watch football with me. We later branched out to include all sports but we never agreed on wrestling and rollerdurby. There is still hope for Jerry he has consented to watch some PRCA, WRCA and PBR Bull Ridding with me. There is HOPE yet.

If not what did you do? We watched Old Old Movies we have seen twenty million times on TV. Oh well he was HAPPY.

Update - YEA FOR INSURANCE!

I just got off the phone with the insurance lady (she was very nice) and it looks like it will pay the biggest part of the problem and she even pointed out a bunch of stuff I had not thought of. It is nice to see GOOD PEOPLE are still around if you look hard enough. The insurance claims man will call to set a time to come out. Soon I hope.

Hot Water Heaters are a problem

Just found out how much to fix the hot water heater. Not as bad as I figured but bad enough. Hot water is not a necessity but it is nice to have, we can still heat water on the stove for dishes but cold showers are the pits. Guess we will rough it a little. At least we are not having to haul water now YEA!!!

Just to let you know

I did mess the hot water heater up big time. It seams there are two elements in the heater and I messed them both up. Guess that is the job for tomorrow. See how much it is going to cost to get us some hot water. Oh well WHAT NEXT

Just a quick note about our crazy day.

Yea we are fixed kind of but it is so nice to have water where it is suppose to be IN THE PIPES. The one bad drawback is I am afraid I messed up the hot water heater. When Jerry said to throw the braker to the hot water heater I told him it was on demand heater so there was no tank to worry about. Well the first thing the repair man asked was had we thrown the braker. I was in big trouble when I had to say NO. Now that everything is back up we still have no hot water. That is a job for Monday. The reason I am posting so late is I used the excuse of no clean clothes to ware to work tomorrow and needing a bath (after crawling in and out from under the trailer all morning and afternoon) to go to my very best friend Ernestine to clean up and play cards wile the clothes wash. Seemed GOOD to me and Jerry agreed. Ernie, her daughter, her sister and I play cards or dominos any chance we get. I'm just now getting home but boy did we have FUN even if I did loose bad. Well guess I had better close for now and get ready for the challenges of latter today.

Explination of the last post

I just found the EDIT POST and found all those posts I thought I had posted but did not get it done. Boy, did I have a lot of them. That one was from Feb 2nd so sorry for the mess up. I still have one more I still want to post even if it was from Christmas Day. I was at Gerry's Home and he was HELPING. THANKS SON
