This is getting to be a habit. Where is the time going, I can not believe it is Wednesday again already. Here are my answers to Sunday's questions.
1. do you watch/read the news?
When I get the chance I watch the news but I also like to read the local Canyon paper when someone puts one in the breakroom. It is a good paper and I know the Editor, it is only published on Thursday and Sunday.
2. how would you describe your look?
I would defiantly say casual/comfortable, at my age I don't have to be in style any more so I just dress comfortable. That is most important to me now.
3. did you play sports in high school or college.
When I was in high school girls did not play competitive sports except against other classes in the same school (7a against 7b for example). With me being 5' 10" from the 6th grade to graduation I was always drafted for basketball season and a fair guard position. Girls back then were only allowed to play half court, 3 Guards and 3 Forwards from each team on each end of the court. Guess the powers that be thought we could not run the distance of a full court. I did go on and played Tennis at College. When I was in my first class to learn how to play tennis they made the announcement for anyone interested in being on the Tennis Team to stay after class and I did. I did make the team and I was number four player on the team, even though I had never touched a racket yet. Of course there were only four of us on the team. I was teamed with the number one player and we played against number two and three. That gave us a lot of play time.
4. would you rather give up lipstick/gloss or high heels?
Being 5' 10" most of my, life I have never worn high heels ever. Not even the low 2" ones. As for lipstick if I put any on it always turns bright red and with my use to be RED hair it never looked good, so I have never worn lipstick either but lip gloss is a different matter. I never go any where without a tube of gloss in my pocket and a back up in my purse. Yes, can give up heels easier than my gloss.
5. what is your favorite show to watch on tv?
That is easy, any craft show. I am always on the look out for a new craft to try, or at least adapt it to a craft I already do. YES I ADMIT IT I AM A CRAFT NUT. I have a room of unfinished projects for prof of it.
6. would you rather bake or cook?
I must admit I am not much of a cook or a baker, even my youngest son took homemaking in the 8th grade because "Someone in the family needs to know how to cook." Now if I could cook only for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Easter I would like that. I feel I have put on a feed or two. The last Christmas before our divorce I fed 60 people (all my family, his family and any one who had no where else to go was welcome at our house). The first Thanksgiving I was single I put out the word "I will fix a 20 lb turkey with dressing and gravy if you want anything else bring it." and I had 45 singles at my home. Not bad for a non cook, but I do like Burger King and Pizza Hut.
7. shorts or skirt?
My pick is a skorts, you know the shorts that look like a short skirt. How is that for an answer.
8. what's your favorite scary movie?
I gave never been a fan of the scary movies but my boys really enjoyed them for how the special effects were done. I took they to the movies a lot but learned real fast I did not sit between them, they thought it was so funny to goose me in the ribs to watch me jump even when it was not a scary part of the movie. THANKS A LOT GUYS. But the scary movie now days are so over the top and gross there is no way I want to watch them in any way.
THERE IS MY ANSWERS FOR THIS WEEK. HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GOOD REST OF THE WEEK AND MAKE IT A GREAT WEEKEND.
